Mike Alvarado’s life is a firework of failure: a dependent brother, an alcoholic father, and a girlfriend so desperate for love that she insists on an open relationship. Out of sheer despair, he stumbles into the world of cryptocurrency, and one stroke of luck suddenly changes everything. Mike quits his job and gains entry to parties that were once reserved for others. At times he is the Gatsby next door, at others a restless addict, while the digital game devours his coins faster than he can keep up.
