Böse Geboren

It was supposed to be a protest action, but in the end one of the animal rights
activists is dead and the other flees, badly injured by the invisible sniper’s
bullets, deeper and deeper into the forest. A tough nut to crack for detectives
Katrin König and Melly Böwe, even though the most obvious solution seems
to be right in front of their eyes: not far from the crime scene, Eva Greuner and
her son Milan live on the edge of the forest. Milan, an outsider shunned by his
neighbors, is the result of a rape, his father is a notorious serial ripper, and it
almost seems as if his dad’s dark soul has also manifested itself in him. This
makes Milan the prime suspect, especially as he spends most of his time in
the forest anyway. But is it really that simple? As events come thick and fast,
suddenly every minute counts ...
Alexander Dierbach’s provocatively formulated »Bornd Bad« develops a classic
criminal case from its premise, which is just as clever at laying out false trails
as it is at playing with the expectations of its audience. Thanks to a compe-
tent cast, the chemistry between the characters is just right and effortlessly
creates atmospheric tension in the local deciduous forest.
